Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Apollo XVII 40th anniversary edition 311.30.42.30.99.002, which marks the final lunar mission of December 1972. Limited edition piece of 1,972 pieces. 42 mm stainless steel casing, with a water resistance of 50 meters. Manual-winding Omega 1861 chronograph calibre movement. A power reserve of 45 hours. Silver dial, with the Apollo XVII patch design. Small seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hour sub-dials, with black hands. Central luminous hours, minutes, and seconds hands with black outer minutes track. Fixed black bezel with silver tachymetric scale. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal with black Omega Speedmaster Professional writing upon the glass beneath the 12 o’ clock position. Steel case-back with black writing in homage to NASA’S last Apollo mission: “The last man on the moon December 14, 1972” & “Apollo XVII 40th Anniversary”. Box and papers dated March 2013.
